Key Responsibilities:

- Buyer will develop different product ranges across various product categories.
- Should be familiar with the manufacturing in Asian markets, particularly the far east.
- Understand consumer demand via stores, social media, customers, and available networks.
- Work on the costing, price, marketing, and after-sales support for the sourced products.
- Should Know how to run channel displays that lead to the sale of the products.
- Inventory management and dead stock reduction.
- Gather feedback from stores regarding product lines, availability and layout.
- Creation and pricing of new inventions, ability to introduce novel ideas, and strong pricing and negotiating abilities
- Strong business acumen, including an excellent grasp of how costs affect profits.
- Identify new suppliers from different countries for different product categories and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure that all of the providers we are working with have NDAs in place.
- Strong negotiating skills with vendors on terms, production planning and product price.
- Ability to manage production requirements, PO placement and inventory in conjunction with the Supply Chain department.
- Lead the procurement journey from product innovation till buying.
- Coordinate with the product development team/ design team of the vendors and approve the products and designs based on the specifications and quality standards given.
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
- Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase
- Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to remain up-to-date with the market’s trends
- Manage sample approvals and library

**Salary**: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
