_**Purpose of the Job**:_
- To meet and exceed sales _targets _set in the monthly and yearly forecast, and to direct all efforts towards maximizing the hotel’s profit on all operating departments_

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- The following duties are distinctive for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties for those set forth below to address First Central Hotel Suites needs and changing Hotel practices._

1. To call on accounts and report directly to the Director of Business Development.

2. To increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationship with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets.

3. To develop and maintain new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.

4. To enroll as many qualified Private Line members as possible from active accounts and to service Private Line members according to the Private Line manual.

5. To attend trade shows corporate functions, promotions, etc. representing hotel and First Central Hotel Suites in general to keep a high profile in the marketplace.

6. To distribute corporate directories and sales collateral as appropriate.

7. To actively cross-sell all First Central Hotel Suites.

8. To maintain accurate accounts and data sheets on all active accounts; to monitor this data via the system.

9. To carry out the sales solicitation strategy developed for all applicable markets.

10. To participate in the sales duty roster as required.

11. To entertain key accounts when necessary with prior approval the Sales & Marketing Manager.

12. To attend the daily Business Development briefing.

13. To maintain an efficient corporate and travel account filing system, following company guidelines.

14. To maintain all other hotel records and forms as prescribed by local hotel and management policies.

15. To follow operating standards on the use of the Computer System.

16. To identify, report, and respond to market needs and trends.

17. To monitor and analyze competitors sales promotion and activities.

18. To implement an effective sales plan and promotional activities for the department.

19. To constantly refine product knowledge.

20. To respond to any changes in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company or hotel.

**Other Duties**:
1. To report for duty punctually wearing formal attire and name badge at all times.

2. To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

3. To maintain good working relationship with your own colleagues, and all other departments.

4. To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

5. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

6. To have a complete understanding of the Hotel’s employee handbook and adhere to the regulation contained within.

7. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

8. To attend all training sessions / program that are requested by Hotel’s Management.

**Quality Control**:
Demonstrate and maintain high standards of performance to meet and exceed First Central Hotel suites staff members and HR Director expectations.

Ensure that high level of work services are maintained at all times.

To ensure that you in your department confirm to house rules and policies of the Hotel

**Health & Safety**:
Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene and to keep high standard of cleanliness in your station as well equipment used.

2. Carry out lots of administrative works along with other department if required such as the awareness of Hazard risk assessments.

To ensure the practices of wearing uniform at all times, hygiene and sanitation.

4. Ensure compliance with the policy regulations are adhered with office environment in accordance with Hotel Health & Safety Regulations.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English, Arabic & Russian (preferred)
