The **Pervasive Sensing & Digital Solutions PMO Manager **will take full operational responsibility for the planning and execution of Pervasive Sensing and Digital Solutions projects around Solutions/Software engineering, wireless-enabled solutions & Instrumentation, wireless infrastructure & Networks for Measurement Solutions in Middle East & Africa, based in Emerson Dubai Office in Jebel Ali.

THE PMO Manager is responsible for budget, schedule, safety, efficiency, quality and deliverables of the contract. They are r esponsible for timely delivery of the Pervasive Sensing and Digital Solutions Proposals, participation in DOA call and Controlling proposal efforts.

Act as key interface point from Operations side to MSOL Pre-Sales, Product Management groups, wireless solution architects, and play a partnering role with our MSOL Sales Organization to ensure successful award of new major project opportunities, drive for a seamless transfer from Sales to Operations.

Success will be measured in terms of project profitability, on-time completion, high-quality execution, and meeting customer specifications and expectations.

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:

- Responsible for seamless implementation of Pervasive Sensing Digital Transformation projects especially complex contracts involving engineered solution s, 3rd party buyouts and services, as well as on-site Installation and Commissioning Services.
- Support Pre-Sales, Product Management groups, Wireless solution architects during bidding phases to ensure optimal cost position, contractual terms and conditions review and execution plan agreed upon with customer.
- Ensure and take ownership of submission of technically clean proposal in Systems format with all third-party buyouts costing worked out diligently. Present commercial aspects, risks, during DoA calls.
- Direct strategic sourcing teams to ensure cost containment for buyouts and 3rd party services and present cash flow for buyout scope during DoA process.
- Implement PMO processes & tools in liaison with the wider global PMO organization and continuously improve processes to improve productivity and manage project risk
- Flawless planning of project activities. Ensure adequate resources and mobilization planning is in place to meet customer commitments and deliverables for Emerson as well 3 rd party contractor services at site.
- Ensure that MEA Pervasive Sensing & Digital Transformation orders are delivered On-Time, within Budget, drive for profitability improvement during project execution cycle.
- Responsible for consistently implementing global process and procedures as identified by the leaders of the business
- Provide risk mitigation strategies to manage financial, commercial, legal and schedule risks on projects
- Participate in project pursuit reviews and sales meetings to develop a clear understanding of business drivers, strategic sales objectives and expected operational challenges
- Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices
- Accountability for project milestone invoicing and collection, contract/site closure and smooth handover to Lifecycle Services teams
- Participate in the MEA Inventory call and ensure adherence to declared WIP projected numbers for Systems projects
- Responsible for seamless execution of Wireless product orders
- Responsible for forecasting and achieving Systems Sales POR within +/-5% accuracy

What do I need to be considered for this role?
- Strong experience in project planning and revenue recognition forecasting
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Terms & Conditions, Exposure to local laws and Taxation matters.
- Exposure to working with EPCs /contractors is must
- Exposure to Solutions/Software engineering, wireless-enabled solutions & Instrumentation, wireless infrastructure & Networks (WPN), including the associated Engineering and Project Management needs to enable successful project delivery
- Experience in leading/executing high value (> $1M) projects with 3 rd party contractor installation and commissioning scope
- Experience in building teams to deliver complex projects and in managing decentralized engineering teams
