**Job Summary**:
Manage and support our day-to-day IT operations, ensuring smooth and secure functionality of our network, software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Technical Support & Troubleshooting**:
- Provide daily technical support to employees for networking issues, printer access, software installation, and other IT-related queries.
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with AMC vendors to ensure timely and necessary support as per scheduled maintenance or when specific issues arise
- **Network Management**:
- Monitor and maintain the company’s local network, ensuring connectivity and network security.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Recommend, implement, and manage firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools to ensure robust network and system protection
- **Software & Hardware Installation**:
- Set up and configure new computer systems, including hardware and software components.
- **Server & Data Management**:
- Assist in server maintenance, including backup schedules and data restoration.
- Perform regular backups for individual computers and manage server backups on periodical basis to ensure data integrity and security.
- **Cloud Management & Security**:
- Manage and monitor cloud-based storage solutions, ensuring secure data access and availability.
- Work closely with the ERP & Functional teams to maintain cybersecurity protocols and protect sensitive data.
- **Documentation & Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and software inventory.
- Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for common IT issues.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, Windows and Mac OS environments, and common office software.
- Familiarity with server maintenance, data backup solutions, and cloud management platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with cybersecurity practices.
- Knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with database management and basic SQL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to IT management and maintenance
