Job Purpose:
- To expand the Life Business: Food & Beverage in particular as Subject Matter Expert and enhance all Life Business verticals in UAE for Pharma, Smart Cities, including F&B and any under life business portfolio. It is required to develop opportunities in Middle East and Africa region and achieve budgeted order Intake (F&B), with support on required sales turn over and gross profit targets.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1) Build and maintain strong customer relationships and work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for F&B serving the entire Middle East and Africa Region Sales members towards realizing F&B business growth.
2) Identify in UAE (Life Business: Pharma and F&B and other business relevant) opportunities and customers/end users decision makers.
3) Collect, compile, verify and analyze, competitive, sales, marketing and other information about potential business; new markets, products and services; or other business opportunities.
4) Control, Manage & Update Life opportunities in CRM frequently.
5) Prepare & Deliver documents and materials on company products/services (for example reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings with customers, EPC’s & End users.
6) Build a consistent and sustainable sales pipeline.
7) Educate customers on new/enhanced product lines/services.
8) Plant visits/development of customer relationships.
9) Actively pursue customer feedback.
10) Understanding customer’s process & Main equipment.
11) Knowledge of Yokogawa product lines.
12) Conduct visits and calls to potential customers and follow up regional life leads within YMA.
13) Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company.
14) Offer Preparation - Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements.
15) Support and monitor OI for Life Business as per the Business Unit Sales Target and its execution strategies and plans.
16) Develop, discover and execute to some extent Life Business Projects when required depending on the size of Project and the requirements.
Qualification and Experience
- Preferably engineering graduate in Process Automation / Instrumentation / Electronics & Electrical streams.
- Minimum 12 years Sales & Engineering experience is preferable.
Required Competencies / skills
- Sales oriented
- Fluent in English language
- Computer skills, mainly MS apps.
- Strong Technical background of F&B Processes and MES.
- Strong Technical Background of DCS including Batch Management System (BMS).
- Strong Technical Background Control Systems / Field Instrument / Analytical Solutions
