PORTER Role

To assist in the general operations of the Company, specifically in the receiving, storing, packing and issuing of stock, and to assist with ad hoc tasks as required by the Procurement Manager or Senior Management

Reporting: Sr Procurement Officer, Administration Manager

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

Result Focus

1. Assisting with the preparation and issuance of the daily requisitions (loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, shipping)

2. Receiving & processing warehouse stock products (picking, unloading, labeling and storing)

3. Maintain and clean warehouse vehicles and equipment

4. Maintaining the stores and office space sin good condition and to a high standard of cleanliness

5. Regular general cleaning of the office and stores - including dusting of office furniture, mopping, handling and disposing of litter, garbage & recycling

6. Responsible for replenishing supplies in restroom & break room

7. Report any discrepancies

8. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

9. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

10. General assistance as required by the supervisors & management staff

- Be fully committed and dedicated to personal development and growth, working toward the achievement of performance targets on agreed periodic basis

Knowledge Management
- Ensures all paperwork is kept in meticulous order and correctly executed within the Branch, complying with all management information and reporting requests and in compliance with legal/regulatory standards/requests
- Ensures that all documentations are up to date and the team is following and are audited as per the set benchmarks on a regular basis

Confidentiality & Ethics
- Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Confidentiality policy and Third-Party Non-Solicitation policy which prohibits the sharing or discussion of sensitive information and the earning of fees through third party channels not connected with the Company;
- Protection of the Company at all times in relation to informational databases, IP, secrets and strategy, as well as sensitive information, all of which may not be discussed with any unauthorised person
- Ensure all sensitive client and Company information remains confidential and ensure this culture is built across the Branch
- Ensure any unethical behaviour of any team member is quickly brought to the attention of Senior Management, so that it may be appropriately addressed.

Pre-requisites
- Diploma/Degree in any stream
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in similar role in Hospitality/Retail/F&B
- Proficient in English with ability to Speak, Read, Write & understand efficiently
- Required Characteristics
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be highly motivated and work with mínimal supervision
- Consistently exercise initiative and good judgment
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines
- Have excellent attention to detail, accuracy and timelines
- Follow sanitation guidelines and policies
