
Accounts Assistant

**Job Summary**: The Accounts Assistant will support the finance department by handling various accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Payable**: Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying and coding invoices, ensuring timely payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
- **Accounts Receivable**: Handle accounts receivable functions, such as invoicing customers, tracking payments, and managing outstanding receivables.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records match bank statements.
- **Expense Reporting**: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate reimbursement.
- **Financial Data Entry**: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, maintaining up-to-date records.
- **Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Audit Support**: Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations as needed.
- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data management, and scheduling meetings.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable but not mandatory.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in accounting software (EXP IN TALLY ERP MUST ) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
