The NOC Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Network Operations Center (NOC) activities related to the metro rail project. This role involves monitoring and managing the D&B contractors' network operations during the design review and construction stages to ensure system availability and performance.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Monitor network operations to ensure system availability and performance.
- Oversee and coordinate network activities of D&B contractors.
- Review and approve network-related designs and plans submitted by contractors.
- Conduct regular assessments of network performance and provide feedback.
- Ensure compliance with network security and operational standards.
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve network issues and outages.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams and contractors.
- Develop and implement network operation procedures and best practices.
- Prepare and present network performance and incident reports to stakeholders.
- Manage network incident response and resolution processes.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
- Oversee network upgrades and maintenance activities conducted by contractors.

**Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in network operations and management.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network operations.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
