Main Responsibilities,

As the central point of contact for the yachts you are assigned, your main job is to ensure smooth communication between the yacht's crew, and the owner's team.

You'll work closely with the Accounts Team, Compliance and technical Team Captains and Crew to make sure the yachts are managed to the highest standards; this involves handling any issues that come up, keeping an eye on finances, and making sure everything runs smoothly day-to-day.

Key responsibilities of the role are varied including but not limited the supervision of monthly/annual reports, annual budgets, working closely with owner’s team and yacht crew in ensuring the yachts maintenance is managed, monitoring the yachts certification and registration. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is completed on time, and kept to company standards.

Guide and support owner’s team and yacht crew to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective yacht operations in accordance with company standards and with support from other parts of the Yacht Management team.

Monitor and influence the financial performance of assigned yacht against budget: approve expenditure; ensure funds are held to cover anticipated liabilities; approve narrative explanations to accompany periodic reports to the owner; assess the value for money received for major items of expenditure.

Prepare a monthly operational report on the performance of assigned yacht for submission to the Owner’ team.

Provide support to brokerage during the sales process to ensure that yachts are brought into management in a professional, proactive and compliant manner.

Organize and oversee refits and shipyard periods.

Carry out regular visits to the vessel and engage with crew.

Experience in the same industry with minimum 3 years.

Flexibility to travel, good communication and organization skills, problem solver, capable of giving instruction.

Knowledge in safety, security, technical operation management

oversee all aspects of the business, commercial and marine operations for several yachts.

Shipyard or refit experience is a plus.

Maritime experience

Knowledge of MLC
