- Within the Asset Management, O&M and Performance team, the MEA Asset Manager reports to the Head of Asset Management, O&M and Performance. In connection with the hubs and the support businesses, he is responsible for optimizing the P&L on the Assets under his scope and for the proper technical, administrative, and financial management of the Assets. It ensures in particular:
- Monitoring the operational and financial performance of MEA assests
- In connection with the Performance team and the hubs, identifies the levers for optimizing the P&L of the Assets (optimization of production and revenues, control and optimization of OPEX)
- In conjunction with the performance team, monthly reviews the operational performance of the assets (vs. internal budget, external business plan)
- Analyze monthly and/or quarterly the financial performance of the assets (financial statements / updated BP vs internal and external budget)
- Production of key indicators (creation and generation)
- Review of operational and financial forecasts
- Critical review of assumptions and optimization proposal. Preparation of the Budget and the PLT of the assets in coordination with the finance, strategic planning and construction department
- Preparation of the governance bodies of the project companies in connection with, not limited to, finance, legal, operations
- Manage the relationship with the co-shareholders of the projects
- Revision of the legal pack
- Analyze and synthesize the key elements upstream of each committee and review with directors/administrators
- Prepare a synthetic note before each board for TotalEnergies board members
- Review the analysis of the financial statements and their validations during governance meeting
- Analyze the updated financial statements, budget, business plan in coordination with the finance department
- Ensure compliance with validation deadlines
- Coordination and management in case of claim
- Monitoring of equipment guarantees for EPC contracts
- Claims management with suppliers
- Management of insurance claims
- Coordination and support for the implementation or renewal of major contracts (O&M, AM...)
- Implementation of processes at hub level
- Supervise the deployment of Asset Management standards
- In connection with execution teams, supervises the commissioning of assets
- Feeds the REX
**Context and environment**
- TotalEnergies Renewables International is a growing subsidiary in a very dynamic renewables market and in very varied geographic markets (Spain, Japan, Middle East, US, Spain, Chile, etc.)
- Regular interaction with a large number of contacts within TotalEnergies Renewable International and outside (subcontractors, co-shareholders in project companies).
- Position is located in Dubaï
- Proven skills in asset management and/or accounting/management, operations
- Experience in the renewables sector desirable
- Higher education degree (Engineer or commercial), professional experience of at least 5 years
- Fluent in English, Arabic and French are a plus
- Synthetic and analytical mind
- Curious open personality, with a keen sense of managing cross-functional relationships
