**Job Title: Sourdough Pizza Chef**
**Location**: COMO Lounge - A
**Contract Type**: Full-Time
**Preferred Age**: 30 years and below
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Dough Preparation**: Prepare and maintain sourdough starter; mix, knead, and ferment sourdough pizza dough to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- **Pizza Creation**: Shape and stretch dough to the desired thickness; top pizzas with a variety of ingredients according to cafe recipes or customer requests.
- **Baking**: Operate pizza oven (wood-fired, gas, or electric) to bake pizzas to perfection, ensuring the right balance of crispiness and chewiness.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the head chef to develop new pizza recipes and seasonal specials, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene; ensure all pizzas meet cafe standards before serving.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of pizza ingredients and supplies; place orders and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure availability.
- **Cleanliness and Safety**: Keep work area, equipment, and utensils clean and organized; adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- **Customer Interaction**: Occasionally interact with customers to take special orders or receive feedback, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a pizza chef, baker, or similar role with expertise in sourdough techniques.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Creativity and passion for food, with an eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- **Preferred age**: 30 years and below.
