**Role Overview**:
As a Bookkeeper at Skybound Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Record Transactions**: Accurately record financial transactions in the company’s accounting system, ensuring all entries are complete and correct.
- **Reconcile Accounts**: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- **Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable**: Process invoices, track payments, and handle accounts receivable and payable functions efficiently.
- **Prepare Financial Reports**: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries for review by the Financial Controller.
- **Maintain Ledgers**: Ensure all ledgers are up to date, including general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- **Assist with Payroll**: Support payroll processing by verifying timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring timely payments.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, ideally within a financial wealth management or related industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
