- Recorddaytoday financial transactions and maintain accurate financialrecords.
- Managethe full accounts receivable (AR) cycle including generatinginvoices following up on payments and resolving anydiscrepancies.
- Managethe full accounts payable (AP) cycle including processing vendorinvoices scheduling payments and ensuring timelypayments.
- ReconcileAR and AP balances to the generalledger.
- Performmonthend and yearend closing activities for AR AP and generalledgeraccounts.
- Reconcilesales taxes payroll taxes and bank accounts at the end of eachmonth.
- Generatemonthly quarterly and yearend financialstatements.
- Maintainand update the generalledger.
- Bringthe books to the trial balancestage.
- Prepareand submit tax returns in compliance with locallaws.
- Monitorand ensure accurate and timely processing of employeepayroll.
- Assistin the annual audit process and provide necessarydocumentation.
- Maintainhistorical financial records by filing documentssystematically.
- Ensurecompliance with government reporting requirements and taxfilings.
- Providetimely and accurate financial information to management fordecisionmaking.
RequirementsQualificationsand EducationRequirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
- Provenexperience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role with specificexperience in AR and APmanagement.
- Handsonexperience with accounting software (Odoo or anyERP).
- Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel.
- Solid understandingof basic bookkeeping AR AP and accountingprinciples.
- Strong attention todetail and confidentiality.
- Abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
- Excellent organizational andtimemanagementskills.
- Experience inmanaging both accounts receivable and accounts payableprocesses
- Experiencein payroll processing and taxcompliance.
- Experienceworking in an SME or MSP environment is aplus.
- Familiaritywith financial reporting budgeting andforecasting.
