**Position Summary**:
The Group ERP Manager - SAP is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP ERP system across the organization. This role involves managing a team of SAP professionals and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of SAP to support business processes and achieve organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead the maintenance, and optimization of the SAP ERP system across the organization, including project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to define business requirements, configure SAP modules, and ensure successful system integration.

Develop and execute testing strategies to validate the functionality and performance of the SAP system.

**System Maintenance and Support**:
Ensure the ongoing stability, availability, and performance of the SAP system by managing system updates, patches, and upgrades.

Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to minimize downtime and maximize user productivity.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and resolve system-related problems in a timely manner.

**Business Process Optimization**:
Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using SAP.

Collaborate with departmental heads to define system requirements and configure SAP modules to align with business needs.

Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize the use of SAP across the organization.

**Team Management**:
Manage a team of SAP professionals, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful ERP initiatives.

**Vendor Management**:
Liaise with SAP vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage service-level agreements, and ensure timely resolution of any vendor-related issues.

Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations on system enhancements or upgrades.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in managing SAP ERP systems, including implementation, maintenance, and support.

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and functionality, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, etc.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within the defined timelines and budget.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and implementing process improvements.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of SAP professionals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) are highly desirable.

Knowledge of other ERP systems and integration with SAP is a plus.

Familiarity with industry-specific ERP solutions (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) is advantageous.
