Currently, we are in search of a dynamic and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our highly accomplished team.

**Job Summary**:
As part of the Inclusion Team and wider school:

- Uphold the vision, ethos and policies of the school;
- Comply with requirements of schools' policies and relevant information for students, families and other stakeholders;
- Work collaboratively with the Inclusion Team;
- Work in a manner which contributes to the school continuing to deliver outstanding levels ;
- Ensure parents are communicated with effectively about student progress;
- Ensure own behaviour and attitudes align with the school's values and culture;
- Carry out other duties within the wider context of the school as directed by the Principal or other members of SLT such as duties.

**Job Overview**:

- a relevant degree;
- at least five years therapy experience;
- the ability to coach and support families;
- a commitment to collaborating with other staff members and building strong relationships;
- a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection and the wider pastoral care of students in their care;
- ability to contribute to wider school life outside the classroom in terms of extracurricular activities and school community events;
- Well-developed concentration, analytic, and reflection skills;
- Demonstrates ability to challenge appropriately;
- Remaining calm under pressure and provocation;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written;
- Effective negotiating, problem solving skills to gain commitment, confidence and compliance;
- Demonstrates an excellent student-centred approach;
- Proficient time management skills;
- Skills in collating and sharing data;
- Demonstrable professional levels of literacy and numeracy for report writing and recording.
