**Danat Al Emarat **is the only private women and children hospital to have a Fetal Medicine Unit along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU Level III) providing care for the most fragile newborns, establishing **Danat Al Emarat **as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancy.
Adopting top international hospitality standards, **Danat Al Emarat **provides a full range of VIP suites and services to cater to the Abu Dhabi Community combined with leisure and entertainment for the families and guests. The hospital was designed by renowned American architectural firm, HKS.
**Job Summary:
- Manager Patient Access Services plays a critical role in developing and implementing the Patient Engagement strategy at DAE. The post holder will be responsible to enhance the quality of patient experience within the organization, through the integration of effective processes, systems and services across all non-clinical patient touch points at DAE.
- The post holder reports directly to the Director Clinical Operations, s/he will be a thought partner with the DCO and the senior Executive team on driving positive employees and patients experience.
- The ideal Manager Patient Access Services will have a passion for people and ongoing improvements. S/he will be a business partner; strategic, strong business acumen, a catalyst for change.
- Role model PEARL behaviors to employees and external stakeholders.
**Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation of Patient Engagement strategy at DAE.
- Oversees the non-clinical patients facing units across the Operations department.
- Work closely with RCM & Insurance departments to enhance the Administration Office performance.
- Implement new processes; pathways; systems to improve departmental productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with the Admission Office to ensure smooth transition of patient between OP & IP.
- Integrate an effective performance tracking & reporting system in line with the departmental KPIs.
- Ensures all departmental requirements are ready to complete internal/ external audits.
- Work closely with HR and Communications department to enhance employee and brand experience.
- Influence and facilitate Hospital Service Standardization, Customer Service Skills training and development, adopting of PEARL Service behaviors to all patient facing employees.
- Influence changes to organizational structures and practices that impact Patient Experience.
- Coach and develop leaders to role model and supervise desired behaviors and culture.
- Lead the team to utilize patient feedback and continuous improvements.
**Facility Specific Responsibilities:
- Complying consistently with DAEH policies, procedures & practices and ensuring alignment with United Eastern Medical Services (UEMS) corporate policies.
- Maintaining confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in the current capacity in accordance with the Confidentiality Agreement and Organizational Policy.
- Employee shall follow the Occupational Safety Health Management Systems (OSHMS) Roles and Responsibilities, with Authority and Accountability provided by the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) staff.
- Employee shall adhere to and follow infection control guidelines and quality standards as published by the Quality and Risk Management Department.
- Employee must understand and adhere to the Emergency Preparedness Plans/Policy.
- Participate in mandatory trainings and workshops as required by the Organization and Regulators.
- Dress appropriately as per Organizational policy and the culture of United Arab Emirates (UAE).
**Qualifications Required**:
- Master Degree of Business Administration.
