**Job Description**:
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES:

- As the Deputy Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Accounting in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Your primary role will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, provide strategic financial guidance, and provide guidance and coaching to other financial department (procurement, account payable, account receivable and intercompany account).
- You will collaborate with various departments to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Assist monthly the FP&A team to confirm monthly the expenditures and profits by division /cost center are correct.

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES:

- Support and/or assist the Head of accounting in its day-to-day responsibilities to ensure actuals are reported on time, free of material misstatements and compliant with generally accepted accounting principles (Group reporting policy and local statutory requirements), regulations and internal controls,
- Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating the accounting functions of the organization.
- Post accounting entries and ensuring the rational and adequate supporting documentation are provided,
- Prepare or review accounting reconciliations monthly maintaining the required accounting documentation (e.g. valid &actual supporting document, audit trail reports),
- Plan, prepare and coordinate the audit of statutory financials statements in order to deliver unqualified annual financial statement by the Group deadlines,
- Support the development and maintenance of financial systems, processes, and policies to improve automation level, efficiency, transparency and accountability,
- Provide analysis and comment to management to understand trend or deviation on actuals versus budget, previous year and previous month,
- Support special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, process improvements, or mergers and acquisitions, as assigned
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, and recommend necessary modifications to accounting processes
- Liaise with internal stake holders (business coordinators or teams, Procurement, Legal, Tax and other finance teams) regarding all accounting-related queries

**Qualifications**:

- Strong accounting knowledge and exposure justified by several years of experience (min 3 years) with progressively increasing responsibilities,
- Experience in a Big Four (min 2-3 years / minimum senior level),
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus,
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality,
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sun, Oracle and Hyperion knowledge would be an advantages,
- Strong Office computer skills (Excel proficient user, Power BI advanced user a real plus).
