**Job Title**: Camp Boss

**Job Summary**:
A Camp Boss oversees the management and operation of remote or on-site accommodation facilities, such as camps, lodges, or temporary housing facilities. This role involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents or guests by supervising staff, managing facilities, and coordinating logistics and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Camp Management**:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the camp facility, including accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance services.

2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all camp operations.

**Staff Supervision**:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of camp staff, including cleaners, cooks, security personnel, and maintenance workers.

2. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and provide training and guidance to staff members as needed.

**Guest Services**:
1. Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, providing orientation and information about camp facilities and services.

2. Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

**Facility Maintenance**:
1. Inspect camp facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, repairs, or safety hazards.

2. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with external vendors or contractors as necessary.

**Inventory and Supplies Management**:
1. Maintain inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and consumables needed for camp operations.

2. Procure supplies, materials, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner, following procurement procedures and budgetary constraints.

**Logistics and Transportation**:
1. Coordinate transportation arrangements for staff, guests, and supplies to and from the camp facility.

2. Monitor vehicle fleets, fuel consumption, and transportation schedules to ensure efficiency and safety.

**Budget Management**:
1. Assist in preparing and managing budgets for camp operations, including expenses for staffing, supplies, maintenance, and utilities.

2. Monitor expenditures, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.

**Emergency Response**:
1. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the camp facility.

2. Coordinate emergency drills, train staff on emergency procedures, and ensure readiness to respond to emergencies effectively.

**Documentation and Reporting**:
1. Maintain accurate records of camp operations, including occupancy rates, maintenance activities, incident reports, and guest feedback.

2. Prepare regular reports for management on camp performance, operational issues, and improvement recommendations.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in hospitality management, facilities management, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in camp management, hospitality management, or facilities management is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to guest services.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards applicable to camp facilities and operations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and stamina for conducting site inspections, walking, and standing for extended periods.

**Working Conditions**:

- Camp Bosses work in remote or on-site camp facilities, often located in rural or isolated areas.
- The role may involve long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure round-the-clock operation of the camp.
- Work environments may vary depending on the type of camp facility, with accommodation ranging from basic tents or cabins to fully equipped lodges or accommodations.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,400.00 per month
