SCOPE /BUSINESS CONTEXTA Full Time position based atJW Marriott Marquis Dubai.Number of Direct Reports - N/ATitles of Direct Reports - N/A CANDIDATEPROFILE Experience:1 to 2 years’ experience in position of similar capacity Skills and KnowledgeComputer skillsEnglishLanguageQuick and eager learner Education orCertificationHigh School or equivalent similarity experience requiredDubai Security Guard/ Officer Certificate (SIRA) SPECIFICDUTIES The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance ofthe position:Daily key audit & reviewConduct daily briefings to buyout security.Assisting LP Asst. manager in handling incidents.Regularly patrol and spot-check premisesPatrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room accessMonitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audit.Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.Conduct safety briefingProper documentation of all accidents, incidents, Marriott Threat condition, ISRA, SSA Files at LP office. and JOBSUMMARY Senior Loss Prevention Shift Leader JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai Hotel Marriott Confidential and Proprietary Information follow up accordinglyBe well versed and knowledgeable of JWMM Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace.Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures.Lock property entrances when required.Conduct daily physical hazard inspections.Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents.Defuse guest/employee disturbances.Call for outside assistance if necessary.Assist management in training, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.Assist in the supervision of assigned security officerLiaising with police when necessary.Handle all interruptions and complaints.Resolve safety hazard situations.Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts.Call for assistance using proper code responses.Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals.Conduct investigations and gather evidence.Conduct interviews with relevant parties. OTHER Policies andProceduresFollow company, hotel and department policies and procedures.Follows Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and proceduresProtectthe privacy and security of guests and coworkers.Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and Management.Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than 48 hours per week.
