Data Steward will collaborate with various stakeholders and will be key to continuously improving data quality.

**3. Data Documentation and Metadata Management**: By creating and maintaining detailed documentation of data sources, definitions, lineage, and business rules, Data Steward will help establish transparency and accessibility. Keeping metadata up to date will be crucial for efficient data management.

**4. Data Classification and Security**: We take data security seriously, especially when it comes to sensitive financial data. Collaborating with our IT and security teams, Data Steward will classify data based on its sensitivity and implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

5. Data Mapping and Integration: Working closely with our business users, data analysts, and developers, Data Steward will ensure seamless data integration across systems. Data Steward skills in understanding data requirements and mapping data elements will contribute to a cohesive and well-connected data ecosystem.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Staying on top of financial regulations and reporting requirements is a top priority. Data Steward will be responsible for ensuring our data complies with regulatory.

**7. Data Issue Resolution**: When data-related issues arise, Data Steward will be the go-to person for investigating and resolving them promptly. Data Steward analytical mindset will help identify the root causes and implement preventive measures to ensure accurate and reliable data.

**8. Data Training and Support**: Sharing Data Steward expertise with our business users and data consumers, Data Steward will provide training and support. Empowering them with knowledge of data management practices, tools, and policies will enhance their decision-making abilities.

**9. Data Governance Framework Enhancement**: Data Steward insights and experience will be valuable in developing and enhancing our data governance framework. Together, we will align it with industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of data governance.

**10. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**: Effective collaboration with various stakeholders is key to successful data management. Data Steward will work closely with our business units, risk management, compliance, IT, and external vendors to foster collaboration and ensure smooth data management and governance processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Steward, Data Analyst, or in a similar role within the financial industry is necessary.
- Understanding of financial markets, products, and instruments is essential for success in this role.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, data management practices, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector is crucial.
- Proficiency in data quality management tools and techniques is necessary to maintain data integrity.
- Familiarity with data integration, and data mapping processes will be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets are important for accurate.
