**JOB PROFILE**

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure a safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
- Review existing policies and procedures
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations
- Work with HR to set up a new employee onboarding process for safety
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Organize and conduct OSH training plans.
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence to rules and regulations
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
- Oversee workplace repair, installations, and any other work that could harm employees' safety.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's Degree in electromechanical, Chemical with or similar field
- Certificate in occupational health and safety, safety management, OSHA
- 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- 3 years of experience in producing reports
- Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
- Working knowledge of safety management information system
- Outstanding organizational skills and Team player
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Safety coordinator: 4 years (preferred)

- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel and Project.: 4 years (preferred)
- QHSE Inspection and Auditing: 4 years (preferred)
- Oil & Gas: 4 years (preferred)
- Lead Auditor or ISO audits Externals: 4 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Fluent in Arabic (preferred)

License/Certification:

- OSHA) or (CSP) certification. NEBOSH (preferred)
- Valid UAE Driving License ? (preferred)
