**Job Description: Mid-Level IP Telephony Administrator**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level IP Telephony Administrator with 5-8 years of experience to join our IT team. In this role, you will manage and maintain our IP telephony systems, ensuring reliable and efficient communication services for all users.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer and support IP telephony systems, including VoIP, SIP, and Unified Communication platforms.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain telephony hardware and software (e.g., IP phones, gateways, PBXs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice quality, connectivity, and system performance.
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of telephony systems within the network infrastructure.
- Implement security measures to protect telephony systems from unauthorized access and attacks.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations within the telephony environment.
- Provide training and support to end-users on telephony tools and features.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IP telephony technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- 5-8 years of experience in IP telephony administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP), and Unified Communication solutions.
- Experience with telephony hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams).
- Familiarity with network protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA Voice, Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist).
- Experience with cloud-based telephony solutions.
- Knowledge of call center technologies and integrations.
