Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. Founded in 2005, it became a publicly listed media company in 2016, and today boasts a global readership across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and more. The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, creative agency Hypemaker, and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.

**Responsibilities**:

- Turn ideas into content that drives high engagement and grows our audience.
- Create and edit photo/video content for use on Instagram and other channels as needed.
- Manage the scheduling and publishing of all content to ensure a 7-day-cycle is met.
- Be the voice of Hypebeast for our community, interacting with comments and DMs.
- Ensure breaking news and viral content is posted in a timely manner.
- Create and keep updated a publishing calendar of culturally relevant moments.
- Cover live events and conduct in-person interviews as needed.
- Deliver regular performance reports that share insights and identify opportunities.
- Align with other regions to adapt global content to a local audience.
- Ensure Hypebeast’s tone and style is consistent across all content.
- Monitor industry trends and stay on top of the latest innovations on social media.
- Attend meetings and assist the partnerships team with copywriting, asset selection, publishing, content creation and event capture as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years in a social media role at an agency or brand with a demonstrable work portfolio.
- Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about fashion, culture, and the different categories that Hypebeast covers.
- Energy and enthusiasm for social media with strong knowledge of all key platforms, their nuances, and best practices.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro; editing both photo and video is a daily part of the role.
- Excellent spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is a bonus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to build strong working relationships across teams and timezones.
- Strong sense of initiative and an ability to work independently.
- A natural storyteller.
- Constantly full of ideas.
- Must speak meme.
