Basedout of ITP s Dubai office this role will be responsible forpublishing daily content reacting to local news trends andhappenings with a fun playful approach with a focus on building anengaged active audience and a growingcommunity.



Requirements

Keyresponsibilities

  • Createand post daily and hourly content across the brand s InstagramTikTok X and Facebookaccounts.
  • Withthe Editor devise a strategy and schedule for each platform keepand deliver an alwayson contentcalendar.
  • Deliverconsistent audience and engagement growth across the brand s socialand digitalplatforms.
  • Ensuredaily content goals are met and content is posted quickly andaccurately.
  • Ensurecontent posted works towards the brand s audience and engagementgoals promoting interaction andreaction.
  • Identifythe best platform for a particular piece of content deliver itcreatively and to a highstandard.
  • Identifynew social trends and jump on them quickly identifying how to makethem work for thebrand.
  • Regularlymonitor user behaviours and algorithm changes and use thoselearnings inform futureplanning.
  • Alongsidethe Editor plan keep and execute a social mediacalendar.
  • Providedaily and weekly reports to the Editor on performance regularlyanalysing and refining approach for bestresults.
  • Workwith the Editor to ensure ALL content reflects overall content /editorialstrategy.
  • Contributeto the brand s annual and seasonal calendar of events collaboratingwith the events team to deliver exciting cohesive qualityactivations that add value to the brand and itsaudience.
  • Occasionallyattend events outside of regular officehours.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers,reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content fordigital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effectivecontent strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives andresonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and editarticles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorialstandards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developmentsto ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, includingindustry experts and partners, to enhance content quality andcoverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across variousplatforms, including the brand's website, social media channels,and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performancemetrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering aculture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications,English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorialexperience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing,proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eyefor design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational andproject management skills. Proficient in using editorial softwareand tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms,content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywallexperience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes:Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to workeffectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative teamplayer with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about thelatest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated,and results driven. International roaster of travel writers andphotographers.
