**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Handle formal bid processes for complex projects including a prequalification process, if appropriate; assist in preparing bid openings and bid results.

Prepare and process construction and service contracts.
Meet with vendors regarding new merchandise and sources of supply.
Review requisitions, purchase orders and bids for conformance and compliance with established standards and regulations; obtain necessary information from Engineering / Project Manager personnel to complete documentation.
Compose correspondence and design and revise forms.
Prepare and maintain a variety of logs, contracts, files and records relating to requisitions, inventory, vendors and other purchasing-related issues; prepare periodic and special reports as needed; enter and retrieve data using a computer terminal and assigned software.
Award bids and quotations and prepare purchase orders.
Coordinate the transfer of surplus or unused materials and equipment between departments, as needed, and the sale of all supplies and equipment.
Quality of Work (Accuracy, Skill and performance of specialized or technical duties, Thoroughness and attention to detail).
Quantity of Work (Amount of work performed, Completion of work on schedule).
Dependability & Reliability (Follow-through, Compliance with work instructions).
Judgment & Initiative (Performance in new situations; flexibility, Performance in emergencies, Performance with minimum instructions, Recognition of limits of authority).
Safety Rules (Consistent adherence to all Safety Rules and Standard Operating Procedures).
Relationship with Others (Cooperation with employees, administrators, Meeting and handling the public).
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.
Analyze market to develop procurement processes.
Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes.
Develop supplier database and establish annual purchasing contracts for lower value, high value items.
Develop workflow process in line with ERP software system.
Ensure principles of value for money, transparency, fairness, efficiency, and accountability are evident in all Al Raha dealings.
Advise senior management improved procurement process, management of company assets and replacement strategies.
Adhere to the company’s Management Information System.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Degree in Engineering or Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Operations.
- Min 5 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Marine/Oil & Gas Industry.
- Should have minimum 5 years of experience in Abu Dhabi Market.
- Should have experience in handling Piping & Structural Fabrication related consumables like Welding, Fabrication, Pipe, Fittings, etc. along with all other required experience for the said position.
