As Inventory Administrator, your main role is to oversee and optimize the management of inventory, ensuring accurate records, efficient stock levels, and smooth material flow within the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for joinery materials, fixtures, and fittings.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of joinery components and materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records, focusing on joinery items.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels for joinery products.
- Implement inventory control procedures specific to joinery items to minimize discrepancies and loss.
- Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and procurement to ensure smooth material flow and resolve any joinery-related inventory issues.
- Generate reports on joinery inventory status, stock movements, and project-specific usage.
- Utilize joinery-specific inventory management software or systems to track and manage joinery inventory efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize joinery inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Identify obsolete or slow-moving joinery items and recommend appropriate actions, such as repurposing or clearance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of joinery-specific inventory-related policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, joinery material availability, and best practices in joinery inventory management.

**Work Experience**:

- At least 4 years of experience in inventory management or related roles, preferably in a joinery or construction environment.
- Experience in managing joinery materials, fixtures, and fittings within a joinery fit-out company.
- Experience working with joinery-specific inventory management software or systems like Sage, Peachtree, QuickBooks and other related softwares.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing deliveries of joinery components and materials.
- Experience conducting stock audits and reconciling physical inventory with system records, with a focus on joinery items.
- Experience in analyzing inventory data, forecasting demand, and optimizing stock levels for joinery products.
- Experience implementing inventory control procedures specific to joinery items to minimize discrepancies and loss.
- Experience collaborating with project managers, production teams, and procurement to ensure smooth material flow and resolve joinery-related inventory issues.

**Skills**:

- Highly Proficient in Excel
- Knowledgable in inventory management software or systems like Sage, Peachtree, QuickBooks and other related softwares.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, specifically in managing joinery materials.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems, including joinery-specific tools if available.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize joinery-related tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes within the joinery fit-out industry, including procurement and project-specific material flow.
- Familiarity with joinery-specific inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, production teams, and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced joinery fit-out environment.
- Understanding of the financial implications related to joinery inventory management.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on joinery materials, industry trends, and advancements in joinery inventory management.

**Education**:

- Preferably but not limited to Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Preferably but not limited to Professional certifications in inventory management, supply chain management, or logistics (e.g., Certified in Production and Inventory Management - CPIM, Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Certified Inventory Optimization Professional - CIOP).
- Training or coursework in inventory management, if available.
- Familiarity with joinery industry standards and practices through relevant educational programs or certifications.
- Ongoing professional development in inventory management or related fields through workshops, seminars, or industry conferences.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
