Excella manage several prestigious British Curriculum schools and nurseries across the region, including Repton School Dubai, Repton School Abu Dhabi, Repton School Al Barsha and Dovecote nursery brands.

**Job Purpose**:
Based in our Head Office, you will report to the Group Finance Manager and be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high standards of customer service by the school based finance teams, supporting in collections reporting and projections, managing the recovery of outstanding fees and improving and streamlining all processes related to collections and customer service activities performed by the school based accounts team.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the management of 3 school treasury teams (1 in Abu Dhabi & 2 in Dubai)
- Responsible for the full revenue stream of all the schools from invoice creation to revenue recognition in the management accounts
- Improve procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
- Develop and monitor SLAs to measure performance
- Build strong relationship with admissions to improve the customer journey and collections
- Improve the efficiency of school based accounts teams by identifying process and system improvements and exploring cash management solutions
- Ensure all payment related communication are updated in a timely manner (terms and conditions, Parent School contract)
- Ensure receivables reconciliations are performed on a timely basis
- Managing all group PDCs
- Review output VAT returns prepared by school based finance team
- Review controls to ensure transactions are captured accurately and in a timely manner and perform regular internal audits
- Responsible for the full revenue stream of all the schools

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
- Service industry exposure would be an added advantage
- Good technical skills and accounting conceptual clarity
- Excellent Excel skills, working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Very good ERP knowledge; working knowledge of Microsoft AX ERP is a plus
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and work under pressure to deadlines
- Excellent English language, communication skills

- Ideally semi-qualified accountant/B.Com/M.Com
