We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

**In this role, you will**:

- Report to Head of Transactional Banking and Mortgages and assure oversight Product & Proposition Management, Governance, Controls and Process against Group standards, Engage effectively with the Retail Product Heads and other key stakeholders in UAE, EMEA Regional Office and the Group
- Play a pivotal role to develop and assure management awareness of product controls, process against present and evolving standards.
- Ensure that the new products and proposition feature’s approvals and implementation plans are compliant with Group standard
- Manage the end-to-end product approvals, post implementation reviews, establishment of In-depth Product Review Program, etc.
- Ensure product and controls meet regulatory requirements and the impact of changes in regulation on the product
- Identify Product Governance related Audit actions and engage, as appropriate, with the relevant stakeholders for their closure
- Conduct Range Review and FVE annual assessments in line with Group Standard
- Support in the implementation of the RCAs and enable a country level dashboard view of ‘Processes at Risk’
- Ensure implementation, maintenance and improvement of their specific processes and its interactions with other processes
- Support and engage in Audits and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for closure of audit actions
- Work collaboratively across all parts of WPB at regional and country levels with a strong customer focus
- Provide the personal leadership required with direct team and matrix senior stakeholders, fostering an environment of teamwork and strong employee engagement.
Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:
**Knowledge / Experience**
- Bachelor degree is mandatory to secure UAE visa
- Senior management and leadership experience in leading risk management and governance within Consumer Banking
- Local (UAE) experience and understanding of regulatory framework would be an added advantage
- Significant experience delivering change at pace in a highly competitive environment, including a strong understanding of agile delivery approaches
- Knowledge of banking products, processes and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery
- Experience in developing strong team culture and managing high performing individuals
- Highly creative and challenging to the status quo
- Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
- High level of personal integrity and values in line with HSBC core values
