**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:
General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Perform payables, reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, utilizing SAP HANA functionalities.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, using SAP HANA as a primary tool for data extraction and analysis.

SAP HANA Integration: Collaborate with the IT team to optimize SAP HANA for financial reporting and analysis purposes. Streamline data extraction, manipulation, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency.

Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Use SAP HANA's analytical capabilities to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls. Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections, utilizing SAP HANA to retrieve necessary data and reports.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function. Propose and implement changes to streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and improve overall efficiency, leveraging SAP HANA's capabilities.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other departments, to support financial projects, system upgrades, and process changes. Provide guidance and training to junior team members on SAP HANA functionalities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive experience working as a Senior Accountant, preferably in a large organization.
- Strong proficiency in SAP HANA, with hands-on experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives and driving efficiency gains.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of 3 - 4 years in SAP HANA specifically in Accounts Payable module

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
