Our client a globalIT consulting firm is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to bebased on one of their client sites in Dubai. The preferredcandidate should Lead the designdeployment and management of the SAP HANA FSDP platform to ensureoptimal performance scalability andreliability.

Yourresponsibilities willinclude:

Develop andimplement best practices for the architecture configuration andmaintenance of the SAP HANA FSDPenvironment.

Ensure theplatform is uptodate with the latest patches andupgrades.

Monitor platformperformance and perform tuning to optimize efficiency andthroughput.

Setup and manage multiple environments (development QA production).Implement environment cloning backups and disaster recoveryprocesses.

Manage useraccounts roles and permissions to ensure secure and appropriateaccess. Implement rolebased access control (RBAC) and maintain useraccesslogs.

Ensure platformsecurity by configuring and monitoring securitysettings.

Conduct regularsecurity assessments and audits to detect and mitigatevulnerabilities.

Ensurecompliance with organizational policies and regulatoryrequirements.


Perform regularhealth checks of the Informatica platform and address anyanomalies.

Utilizemonitoring tools to track system performance and identify potentialissues.

Implement andmanage regular backup procedures to ensure dataprotection.

Providedaytoday support for Informatica environments addressing userqueries andissues.

Optimize viewsdatabase interactions and platform configurations for betterperformance.

Analyze systemusage trends and plan for future capacityneeds.

Implementscaling strategies to accommodate growing data volumes and userdemands.

Conductproactive maintenance activities to prevent potentialissues.

Participate incrossfunctional meetings and provide technicalinsights.

Provide trainingand support to endusers and junior team members on platform usageand bestpractices.

Develop andmaintain user guides FAQs and trainingmaterials.

Maintaincomprehensive documentation of platform configurations proceduresandoperations.

Generate andpresent regular reports on system performance incidents andmaintenanceactivities.







RequirementsTobe considered for this role you need possess the belowcriteria:

Morethan 6 years of experience in information technology with 4 yearsspent in SAP HANA PlatformEngineering/Administration

Proficiencyin Informatica installation configuration andadministration.

Experiencewith scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell) forautomation.

Familiaritywith Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRAConfluence).

Excellentproblemsolving and troubleshootingskills.

Strongcommunication and interpersonalskills.

Abilityto work independently and in a teamenvironment.

SAPHANA administration certification is aplus

Candidateswilling to relocate to Dubai and comfortable considering acontractual role are encouraged to apply for this position.

Immediatejoiners will be preferred or candidate with a maximum of 30 daysnoticeperiod

Tobe considered for this role, you need possess the below criteria:More than 6+ years of experience in information technology, with 4+years spent in SAP HANA Platform Engineering/AdministrationProficiency in Informatica installation, configuration, andadministration. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python,Shell) for automation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies andtools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Excellent problem-solving andtroubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
