**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science and/or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the same field in an educational setting.
- Experience in the use of integrated Library Management Systems.
- Fluent in English & Arabic languages written and speaking.
- Excellent IT skills, Organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and able to positively deal with students.

**Competency Required**
- Knowledge on student complications and suitable change tactics to adopt in resolving them.
- Knowledge of new and emerging electronic resourcesin Integrated Library Systems and web‐based and information technology is essential.
- Excellent knowledge and implementation of relevant technologies.
- Excellent cataloguing, researching and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of school curriculum and relevant resources.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and deal with diverse group of students while maintaining the confidentiality of the information accessed.
- Perform work in accordance with the directives and regulations and adhere to school policies and procedures. Abide by regulations, instructions, codes of conduct and ethics, and avoid all that violates the honor of the profession.
- Ability to build a professional relationship with colleagues and students.
- Ability to work independently and safeguard confidential information.
- Commitment to the highest standards of professional practice and to the development of a school culture based on collaboration between principals, teachers, staff, parents and students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Exhibits self-motivation, high work standards, Problem Solving, Reliability, Integrity, Teamwork, High Energy Level, Patience and Stress Tolerance, Active Listening and attention to details.
- Respect the whole school family and visitors and demonstrate a positive image of the school.
- Ability to connect with school programs and agencies within the community to offer fundamental services for children and families.

**Position Summary**:
The Librarian will pledge his/her commitment to help the School achieve its mission, goals, and vision; value community; bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The Librarian will create, manage, and maintain the library system at INPS to ensure students, faculty, and staff have access to a state-of-the art school library facility. He / She will provide support with information literacy skills, encourage and assess reader development through special activities, and train students to utilize the resources and information literacy
