**Description of Function**:
The Pushback Operator ensures that aircraft movements are executed smoothly and safely, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of Comlux Aviation's ground operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintenance and safe usage of all ramp equipment airside.
- Provide assistance for Pushback/tow operations.
- Assist in maintenance and safe usage of all ramp equipment airside.
- Required to wear and maintain professional uniform.
- Follow safety regulations, company policies, and guidelines from Comlux Middle-East
- and Africa DWC-LLC.
- Wing walking and marshalling to ensure safe services.
- Check aircraft compartments/doors to avoid any damage when loading and offloading.
- Load/offload baggage/cargo from aircraft/cart/vehicle in a safe manner using the proper
- lifting techniques.
- Follow the instructions of the Station Manager.
- Inform the supervisor of any suggestions to improve the efficiency of the operations or
- possible solutions to problematic areas.
- After loading make sure minimum space for maximum loads.
- Knowledge of all equipment and be able to use/identify suitable tow bars.
- Constantly checking on FOD and clearing as required.
- Read tags and segregate loads based on information received either from
- supervisor/tags.
- Handling/sorting of tools, materials, equipment and supplies.
- Any other duties assigned by Station Manager.
- Adhere to the documented procedures of the organisation or department and retain documented evidence related to the performance of their role.
- The employee is expected to exercise their duty of care and must be aware of their health and safety responsibilities, accountability and authority; and shall comply with the policies and procedures outlined by the organisation.
- The Pushback Operator will be available, upon request from the management, to go and collect deliveries outside the facility and accomplish other tasks to assist the operations of the company.
- The Pushback Operator will participate to keep the hangar clean and safe.

**Education & Certification**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driving license; airside driving certification is a plus.
- Pushback/towing certification and experience.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in ground handling, ramp operations, or related fields
- Familiarity with aviation equipment and procedures.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong understanding of airside safety regulations and ramp procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain ground service equipment (GSE) safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in identifying and using suitable tow bars for different aircraft types.
- Effective communication skills to follow and relay instructions.
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks, such as loading/offloading baggage and clearing Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Attention to detail to avoid damage to aircraft during operations.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

- Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
