Tech Head Job Description

We are looking for an experienced technical head to join our team. As the technical head, you will oversee the company’s technical team and all projects they undertake, from API development, FE development, mobile app development to dev-ops. You should be able to work with the team and inspire them to reach their goals. Outstanding technical heads are accountable, trustworthy, and have the required technical expertise across a variety of fields.

Responsibilities:
Take up the responsibility of all the tech projects within the company.

Architecting technical features as per the requirements from the product

Develop the IT strategy in line with organizational priorities to boost operational efficiency

Elevate the IT function to a key strategic role, providing adaptive systems for technological advancements

Collaborate with senior management to deploy IT infrastructure supporting evolving business needs

Consolidate the annual IT budget in alignment with organizational plans

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of new IT systems

Continuously improve internal IT procedures for technological changes

Implementing the best practices and coding standards for all projects.

Reporting for all the weekly tasks in the form of accurate and detailed reports.

Oversee software testing, especially automated tests

Working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the PM at the project level.

Should be proactive while reacting to the Severity 1 issues and be available to rectify them.

Perform root cause analysis of all critical errors and document prevention steps

 Should also work on constantly increasing the productivity of the team and reducing operational inefficiencies.

Tech head should inspire all the other team members, a head who is looked upon by all the members.

Location: The Citadel Tower, Business Bay

Salary : Hike from last salary

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role in the past would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally this would be a Bangalore based role thereby you should be able to relocate to Bangalore if required.
- Should have a good eye for UI/UX
- Have the following tech skills:
I.ASP.NET Core or other BE MVC Frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, etc.

II.SQL and NoSQL databases

III.Experience with Javascript frameworks like Angular 8, React, Vue, etc

IV.Experience with AWS cloud architecture is a must.

V.Docker.

VI.Familiarity with hybrid mobile app development frameworks like ReactNative and Flutter is a bonus.
