**Lead the development and implementation of the schedule for the assigned work week including the daily work schedule, resource confirmation and interfaces with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). Supervise, lead and coordinate work management schedule activities such as maintenance, surveillances, operations, preventive maintenance (PM), chemistry, health physics, engineering, materials management, security support, necessary clearance orders and outage related activities.**

**Work Week Development**
- Lead the development of Work Week schedules in P6 for online work windows to enable the plant organization to execute the work week process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned work weeks for all process oversight during work management scheduling and implementation to ensure efficient and accurate communications with plant management.
- Lead the preparation, scheduling and execution of activities in assigned weeks, to ensure Nuclear Safety is maintained, while work management key performance indicators (KPIs) are kept at industry best levels.
- Oversee work week activity preparations including the number of material acquisitions, conflict resolution, procurement review, management directions and coordination of all stakeholders, including maintenance contractors and vendors, to ensure smooth work week execution.
- Validate the integrity and accuracy of data used in the planning and scheduling systems including: coding, calendars, WBS, task descriptions and weekly schedules in P6 and SAP to ensure that the schedule facilitates productive, safe work.
- Conduct briefings at plant-level meetings and communicate high standards at meetings, breakouts, and conference calls to ensure achievement of the highest level of operational support of the plant.
- Prepare meeting reports and agendas as well as coordinate meeting actions and follow ups to encourage all stakeholders to strive for excellence
- Provide 30-day notice to TSO prior to planned load reduction (World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) indicator) to ensure that TSO factor the load reductions into its planning.
- Create work week plans with efficiency built into all aspects of the plan to ensure alignment and respect for resource constraints.

**Work Week Execution**

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Oversee and direct the development, publication, distribution and overall approval work week portion of the plan-of-the-day (POD) reports prior to POD meetings to communicate a clearly understood plan to all stakeholders.
- Liaise with the Operations department to eliminate schedule-induced challenges to nuclear safety and plant technical specifications and operating requirements.
- Monitor scheduling and track performance of work week execution as well as produce reports, look-aheads and meeting packages to ensure that work week planning is effective.
- Verify the Transmission System Operator (TSO) is notified of planned load threat sensitive work activities no less than 72 hours prior to the work activity to ensure appropriate contingency plans are set.
- Effectively implement the pre/post outage/work week transitions to ensure an effective shift from outage to online.
- Coordinate the Work Week Critique (T+1) to ensure that lessons learned are captured and appropriate corrective actions are assigned, documented and implemented.

**Budget**
- Keep awareness of Plant and Departmental budget objectives, as applicable for assigned tasks to ensure alignment.

**Risk Management**
- Identify and assess schedule risks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant outage and operation.
- Create the agenda/report and participate in weekly risk challenge meetings with management stakeholders to examine and mitigate risks.
- Conduct up-front risk assessment as per the requirements of the On-line Risk Assessment Program for developing daily work schedule to ensure good understanding of the risks associated with schedule performance.

**Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support**
- Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support.

**Health and Safety and Security**
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

**People Management**
- Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
- Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.
