Guest Services Officer

**Position Summary**
The Guest Service Officer is responsible for checking in and checking out of guests at the Serviced Residence Property.
He/She is expected to do whatever it takes to make the guest ‘feel at home’ and exceed their expectations.
He/She is the main point of contact for the guests and coordinates the guest request with the other departments and ensures that the services are delivered promptly and efficiently.
The Guest Service Officer is responsible for the efficient rooming of the guest and provides efficient business services, handles all telephone communications, general enquiries & requests, and maintaining good rapport with internal (colleagues) and external (tenants, guests & visitors) customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist guests at check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and personalized experience.
- Process guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently, including providing information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Maintain the front desk operations and ensure the lobby area is organized and welcoming.
- Perform nightly audits to verify the accuracy of guest accounts, room charges, and revenue postings.
- Reconcile and balance financial transactions from the day, preparing reports for the management team.
- Process and monitor payments, including cash, credit, and billing transactions.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues, escalating to Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to support guest needs and ensure seamless service.
- Monitor occupancy and room status, and communicate any changes or special needs to the housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Prepare daily activity reports, including any incidents or noteworthy events that occurred during the shift.
**Qualifications**:‘O’ Levels / Higher Secondary
**Experience**: Minimum of 2 years work experience in the Front Office in the hospitality industry.
**Competencies**:Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (particularly MS Word, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint) and Cloud PMS (RMS)
Able to converse well in English
**Attributes**:Meticulous, Good Organizational Skills, Display of cheerful, pleasant and warm disposition
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,900.00 per month
