Be Yourself, Be Part of Our Journey- Job Description
- Responsible for checking in and checking out of guests such as registering and assigning rooms to guests.
- Issues room keys and escorts guests into rooms.
- Keeps a record of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Transmits and receives messages.
- Ensures prompt and precise information and assistance is provided to tenants and guests on matters concerning services and facilities.
- Arranges tours, taxis, and restaurants for customers.
- Handles and Records guest comments or complaints, referring issues to managers as necessary.
- Handles cash advance or cash received upon check out.
- Performs simple bookkeeping activities, such as balancing cash accounts.
- Makes and confirms reservations.
- Responsible for safekeeping and the appropriate use of allocated tenants’ documents and collateral items.
- Ensures familiarity with each allocated tenant’s correspondence styles, filing system and head office, and maintain a file on tenant’s profile and preferences.
- Handles faulty situations, raise work order and report them to the department concerned.
- Ensures that all equipment is in good working conditions and regularly maintained.
- Always greet guest in a friendly & professional manner according to the property standards.
- Performs any additional task which are assigned by Guest Service Manager or Guest Service Supervisor.
- Anticipates and addresses guest’s service needs.
- Keeps work area neat and tidy.
- Uniform and personal appearance are kept clean and professional and are in accordance with the company grooming policy.- Job Requirement
- Minimum 1 year of Front Office in hospitality or similar industry experience.
- Able to converse fluently in English.
- Meticulous, good organizational skills, time management, confident, able to handle guest concerns.
