Assistant Purchase Manager

The Assistant Purchase Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement process within the organization. This role involves collaborating with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The Assistant Purchase Manager works closely with the Purchase Manager to streamline purchasing activities, maintain inventory levels, and contribute to overall cost savings.
**Responsibilities**:
**Vendor Management**:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
**Purchase Order Processing**:Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify order accuracy and monitor delivery schedules.
Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
**Compliance**:Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in procurement best practices.
**Documentation**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and negotiations.
Prepare reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.
**Experience**:1-2 years of experience in a relevant role, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
