Position: Growth Marketing Manager

Reporting to the CEO whilst working with department heads in the implementation of sales & marketing strategies and development of products and services.
To set strategies and manage the revenue management, sales and promotional activities of the Sports Resort focusing on Membership Growth and the Key Market Segments which includes, Leisure Individuals and Groups, Travel Agents, DMC’s & Hotels, Corporate Groups, Schools & Universities, Embassies, Institutions and Federations and Government Institutions and Organizations.

To assist, coach and coordinate the sales and marketing activities of the Sales & Marketing, Membership Sales and Membership Relations Departments.

To Conceptualize and implement a growth marketing strategy that aligns functionally, tactically, and commercially to the entire business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing:
Works with the management team to improve product and quality within Sports Resort
- To develop Sports Resort sales & marketing business plans and budget and thereafter, evaluate business trends to modify strategies and then interprets, analyses and manages budget to meet business objectives
- Provide constructive coaching and counselling to fellow employees
- To work with and motivate the sales team to develop the revenue managementprocess of Sports Resort
- To manage all marketing communication matters and activities whilst working withappointed Public Relations and Marketing Agency. Whilst ensuring an excellentrapport is established with all relevant media - locally, regionally and internationally
- To maximize profitability for Sports Resort, with a total revenue focus for major revenue centers which includes, Food & Beverage,
- To identify prospective business partners for the purpose of promotions and public relations activities
- To promote and strengthen the positioning of Sports Resortfor the key business and market segments
- Preparation and administration of overall department budget and preparation ofmonthly and long term strategic department plan
- Monitoring the sales performance through the compilation and preparation of all sales reports including forecast, budgets, weekly and monthly forecasts to ensure company objectives are met
- Manage end to end social media strategy and implementation thereof,
- Manage Website and Application enhancements along with any digital footprint thatwould benefit the organisation,
- Liaise with brand and customer service teams and support in conceptualisingcampaigns and activations on the ground,
- Selection, training, supervision, and development of all sales and marketing personnel
- Extensive interaction with all departments within SportsResort in providing information concerning servicing and handling our members and guests
- Development and maintenance of key accounts through personal sales calls,correspondence with existing and potential client base, and attendance at both traveland related industry meetings and trade shows
- Planning, developing and implementing marketing programs designed to maximizerevenues consistent with company objectives, keeping the focus on a 360 Degreeapproach covering all marketing channels,
- Directing and responsible Sports Resort advertising activities to ensure any programs are consistent with established objectives and company standards
- Identifies positive public relations and teamwork opportunities with the sales team and manages activities to tap on these opportunities
- Motivates and provides a work environment in which employee satisfaction can bereached
- Any adhoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

Membership:

- Assist in the development and implementation of the membership marketing & sales plan and enrolment and retention strategies and member events
- Creation and implementation of an effective “Public Relations and Awareness Campaign “without advertising
- Ensure that an excellent rapport is established with new members in order to receive referrals. Thereby achieving membership enrolment targets
- Establish database and maintain accurate records of members and prospective members for effective communication and promotion of activities for both members and public
- Represent Sports Resort in community activities and organizations to provide community awareness and develop sources for prospective members
- Assists with the creation, organizations and hosting of member events to attract and retain members
- Assists CEO with the coordination of protocol associated with the visits of VVIP Members & Guests

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

- Master’s degree or Bachelor in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent commercial experience
- Minimum 4 - 15 years’ UAE experience in hospitality and / or sports facilities environment or internationally at reputable establishment
