As a Civil Defense Typist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing and typing documents related to civil defense operations. Your role will involve converting handwritten or recorded information into digital formats, ensuring precision, confidentiality, and adherence to established protocols. You will play a crucial role in supporting civil defense efforts by maintaining organized records and facilitating efficient communication within the department.

*Responsibilities:*

1. *Transcription:* Transcribe handwritten notes, audio recordings, or other forms of information into digital formats with precision and efficiency.

2. *Typing:* Utilize typing skills to produce documents, reports, correspondence, and other materials related to civil defense operations.

3. *Accuracy:* Ensure accuracy in transcriptions and typewritten documents, verifying information for completeness and correctness.

4. *Confidentiality:* Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and documents, adhering to privacy regulations and organizational policies.

5. *Document Management:* Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility of information when needed.

6. *Communication:* Facilitate communication within the civil defense department by distributing documents, memos, and correspondence in a timely manner.

7. *Collaboration:* Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support administrative tasks and streamline workflow processes.

8. *Quality Control:* Review documents for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies, and make necessary corrections to maintain quality standards.

9. *Compliance:* Adhere to established guidelines, procedures, and regulations governing civil defense operations, ensuring compliance at all times.

*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in typing, transcription, or administrative support roles.
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of civil defense procedures and terminology (preferred but not mandatory).

**Salary**: From AED4,000.00 per month
