**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Extensive experience in importing consumer electrical goods i.e. lighting, wiring devices etc from China.
- Extensive knowledge of Chinese vendors for lighting products
- Must have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point
- Must have an excellent relationship with Freight forwarders and knowledge of INCO terms
- Must have an excellent knowledge of local and export laws pertaining to sourcing & supply of goods
- Working knowledge and an excellent understanding of Stock management
- Understanding of Profit & Loss statement, especially the impact of stock ageing analysis on company profit
- Local knowledge of UAE traders/suppliers/vendors is essential
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Overseeing and managing the software systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Preparing procurement reports.
- Stock ageing analysis & action plan to manage stocks below the agreed threshold value of the company
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction towards an On-Time-Delivery of materials
- Ensure the Committed On-Time-Delivery requirements are consistently met.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management/BE. Electricals/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.**:

- **10+ years of experience** in purchasing electrical products from various sources locally and internationally.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations/Procurements
- Experience using procurement software and tools
- In depth Knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiation terms.
- Working knowledge and an excellent understanding of Stock management
- Understanding of Profit & Loss statement, especially the impact of stock ageing analysis on company profit
- Local knowledge of UAE traders/suppliers/vendors is essential
