Implement and maintain the IT infrastructure of the medical facility in accordance with DOH guidelines and standards.
- Ensure the secure and efficient operation of all IT systems, networks, and equipment within the facility.
- Stay up-to-date with current ADHICS, JAWDA, and other compliance requirements, and ensure the facility's IT systems are in line with these regulations.
- Provide technical support to medical staff, ensuring that their IT needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the facility's IT services.
- Monitor the performance and security of IT systems, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary security measures to protect sensitive patient data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, and proactively identify areas for system improvements and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
