- Main accountabilities & expectations
- Evaluate student's learning using various methods of assessments including MCQ, SAQ, portfolios, research-based assignments. etc.
- Compiles, administers, and grades examinations
- Advise students on academic, research and vocational matters
- Active participation in departmental assignments and student activities as assigned by the department chair or college dean
- Serve on department, faculty and university committees as appointed or elected

- Preferred Qualification & Experience

Prospective applicants holding at least **MSc for Lecturer level** and **PhD for Assistant/Associate Professor level** in Community Medicine/Public Health or another health-related field.

- Strong interpersonal skills that can produce effective lecturer-learner interactions during both one-on-one (student advising) and in group (classroom) sessions.
- An outstanding record of academic performance and demonstrated expertise in community medicine/ public health.
- Experience in preparing and delivering computer-assisted courses content to students.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering training courses and conducting research related to medical education.
- Membership in Public Health related bodies at the national and international levels.
- Evidence of strong desire for continuous personal development.
- Sincere interest in assisting each student within a diverse and multi-cultural community to maximize their academic, professional, and personal potential.
- Team player that is motivated to strengthen and advance the department and the college.

**Prospective applicants work experience**:

- At least 3 years teaching experience in higher education institutions, medical/health sciences.
- Experience in Problem Based Learning is highly desirable.
