Commercial Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai
Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of contract management, including drafting, negotiation, and administration.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Utilize knowledge of construction processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project efficiency.
- Conduct thorough cost estimation and financial analysis to inform decision-making and project planning.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Prepare and negotiate variation orders and claims as necessary, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Lead and manage a team of 4-5 staff members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address commercial issues and ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and legal frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
