Teach and promote learning in a range of courses in your area of specialization, using modern teaching and learning methods.
- Orientation of students (as necessary by program/course/service requirements)
- Prepare the students for all types of assessments, including, examinations, Projects, assignments and reports;
- Evaluate the progress of each student and notify students in need of counselling services and/or tutorial assistance
- To Develop course curriculum, course handouts, lectures and presentations - To engage in designated professional development activities of the Centre
- Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes, using each course's standard course outline as a guide.
- Participate in program level learning assessment. Participation includes helping articulate learning outcomes, choosing and administering measures, evaluating student performance, and suggesting changes to improve student learning.
- Assign grades and maintain course/student records in accordance with various Awarding Bodies, regulations and submit grades and records by established deadlines.
- Meet all classes and other scheduled responsibilities such as office hours and meetings at the designated times. Should inform the Centre Manager if unable to meet a class on time.
- Help students achieve their educational goals through formal and/or informal advising.
- Attend commencement or other ceremonies appropriate to the faculty member's discipline or program.
- To actively participate in departmental meetings and activities, in support of the general development of students and the Centre, Instructional assignments, using appropriate teaching methods such as a lecture, lab, or distance format, and could include self-paced instruction
- Development of instruments to evaluate student learning; marking such instruments; generally assessing student progress;
- Evaluation of student portfolios/assessments and other materials to conduct Prior Learning Assessments of students.
- Development of teaching and learning materials whenever required.
- Referring students to Student Admissions & Relationship Managers and others within the Centre to address specific student learning or personal issues;
- Preparation of a portfolio/ assessment for use in the formative review process
- Perform other necessary duties which assure the smooth functioning of the Department as assigned by the reporting authority.
- Take part in course related and promotional video’s for the Centre and its online platform
- Take part in Social Media and Learning Platform on behalf of the Centre as and when advised
- Perform other academically related duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
