Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

**In this role, you will**:

- Strategize, plan, onboard and commercialize new acquisition partners for credit card acquisitions
- Be responsible for management of key Third party agencies on a day-to-day basis both strategic/tactical oversight
- Ensure our third-party agencies fully adhere the HSBC controls and FIM guidelines
- Focus on onboarding new partners that will add value to the overall Cards acquisition as part of the country’s strategic growth agenda
- Work closely with Product Managers, Analytics, Marketing and Everyday Banking to understand customer needs and develop a tailor made on-boarding process
- Adopt the Value Streams and Agile ways of working to efficiently deliver products and process streamlining to both clients and frontline colleagues
- Ensure Cards policies and processes are fair, compliant, customer-centric and commercially sustainable across all stages of the customer life cycle.
- Review volume and types of credit card complaints - work with Customer Experience and other key stakeholders to reduce complaints.
- Establish a close working relationship with stakeholders and delivery partners, actively managing dependencies between teams and other projects and programs.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit observations together with any issues raised by external regulators

Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:
**Knowledge / Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree is must to obtain visa in UAE
- Minimum 10 years of Banking experience in retail Product, sales, distribution, channel management, portfolio, risk, Finance, Distribution or Marketing function with preferably 4 years of cards or loan product and channel management
- Knowledge and experience of a retail banking business in an emerging market
- Working across all levels of the organisation to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both a strategic level and at the business unit level.
- Extensive sales and management experience
- Recognised standing in field through personal performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both remote and large scale sales operations.
- Experience of creating and leading a team as well as reorganisation and change management.
- Experience of managing multiple, complex projects.
- Has developed a satisfactory level of professional competence which helps to determine risk based solutions
- Strong analytical and project management skills and ability to lead change and joining up with all teams regionally
- Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at all levels in the organization
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
- Developing and retaining talent and building an effective leadership team.
- Independent and fearless decision-making ability and planning skills with a strong focus on execution
- The individual will be responsible for HSBC UAE Card acquisitions and represent HSBC, with the Mastercard, Visa and other partners.
