FlapKap is seeking a talented Risk Consultant to join our dynamic team in UAE, Dubai. As a Risk Consultant at FlapKap, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risks associated with our clients' financial operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identity potential risks, analyze data, and develop risk mitigation strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Present comprehensive details on how underwriting was done at their previous institutions
- Review & understand FlapKap’s existing credit policy
- Point out areas of improvement for FlapKap’s existing underwriting process
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and risks
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and present recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement risk management measures
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in risk management
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and controls
- Provide support and guidance to clients on risk management practices
- Present comprehensive details on how underwriting was done at their previous institutions
- Conduct risk assessments of clients' financial operations and identify potential risk
- Lead in the revamp of FlapKap’s credit-scoring policy
- This will include, but is not limited to:

- How to improve our documentation process
- How to maximize our safety from collaterals
- How to improve our underwriting process
- What metrics to look at
- What ratios to look at
- What types of analyses to conduct
- How to protect against bad actors?
- What collateral can we ask for?

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in risk management within the financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in risk management
- Proficient in using financial analysis tools and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
