We are a regulated crypto trading and investment platform seeking a dedicated and analytical Risk Analyst / Associate to join our Risk Management team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in the monitoring and reporting of various aspects of risks within our organization. This role is instrumental in helping us make informed decisions to mitigate potential risks and optimize our business strategies.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Risk Monitoring:

- Continuously monitor and assess financial, operational, and strategic risks that may impact the organization.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to identify, analyse, and quantify potential risks.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor risk indicators and key risk performance metrics.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect and validate risk data.

2. Risk Reporting:

- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Summarize findings and present data-driven insights to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Monitor compliance with risk management policies, procedures, and limits, and escalate any deviations.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective risk communication within the organization.

3. Data Analysis:

- Use statistical and data analysis tools to model risk scenarios and assess potential impacts.
- Evaluate historical data and market trends to predict potential future risks.
- Provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies based on data analysis.

4. Risk Assessment:

- Assist in risk assessments and stress testing activities to evaluate the resilience of the organization to adverse events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate emerging risks.

Qualifications:_**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field. A fresh related master’s degree can also be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software. E.g. R, Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchains.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
