* Key Duties and Responsibilities*
- Detect Transactions relating to any crime.
- Review, scrutinize and study records, receive data concerning Suspicious Transactions, and take decisions to either notify the FIU or maintain the Transaction with the reasons for maintaining while maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Prepare, execute and document ongoing training and development programs and plans for the Company’s employees on Money Laundering and the Financing of Illegal Organizations and the means to combat them.
- Collaborate with the Supervisory Authority and FIU, provide them with all requested data and allow their authorized employees to view the necessary records and documents that will allow them to perform their duties.
- Oversight on the implementation of AML policies, procedures, systems, and controls, including the risk-based approach to ML/FT risks.
- Ensure that appropriate policies, procedures, systems, and controls are established, developed and maintained to monitor day-today operations for compliance with AML law, regulations, policies, procedures, systems and controls and assess regularly [annually], review the effectiveness of the same to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
- Receiving, investigating, and assessing the internal suspicious transaction reports. Filing STRs to the FIU, immediately once a suspicion is confirmed by Compliance Committee or Maximum within two working days after completion of necessary investigation.
- Acting as focal or central point of contact between the FIU, the Regulator(s), and State authorities in relation to AML issues. Ensure prompt response to request for information by the FIU, Regulator(s), and State authorities in relation to AML issues.
- Receive and act on the Ministry of Economy and international findings about AML issues.
- Monitoring appropriateness and effectiveness of the AML/CFT training programmers.
- Reporting to the Compliance Committee on AML and CFT issue.
- Exercising all other functions given to Money Laundering Reporting Officer under AML/CFT Law, regulations or on issues relating to AML/CFT including accessing the IEMS portal of the FIU and filing STR and other reports to them.
- The MLRO must execute his responsibilities honestly, reasonably, and independently, particularly while receiving, investigating, and assessing internal STRs.
- Conduct regular gap analysis on new notices/regulations/best practices issued by regulatory bodies vis-à-vis this AML Compliance policy.
- Ensure all key documents pertaining to KYC of customers, customer transactions and STR are retained for the minimum period of five (05) years.
- Producing bi-annual reports on the effectiveness of the AML / CFT controls, for consideration by senior management and Owner. MLRO shall also provide a quarterly update on key action points pertaining to compliance-to-Compliance Committee.
- Any other duties and responsibilities prescribed by the Management.
- Know how to create, the company's contracts and agreements

Key Core Competencies and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Distinguished background within regulatory compliance / legal management or risk management
- Work experience or ideally, with strong exposure to the precious metals industry
- Possess strong organization and coordination ability and the ability to deal with and solve problems

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
