Procurement Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that procurements are cost-efficient, of high quality, comply with project quality and specification requirements, and are completed in a timely manner within the approved budget.
- Ensure that the overall procurement process complies with company procedures and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality.
- Prepare detailed comparison lists in itemized BOQ, compare with budget, assess suppliers’ compatibility, and evaluate pre-qualifications of vendors.
- Conduct initial negotiations and present comparisons with recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to understand and interpret technical data to identify noncompliance in quotations.
- Maintain a strong supplier database, evaluate supply options, and keep accurate records.
- Build relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and interior designers to stay current on product lines.
- Analyze all suppliers, domestic and international, to select the most suitable ones who can deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing and payment terms.
- Review the terms and conditions of agreement drafts as per approved standards.
- Submit reports to management.
- Check, review, and process formal contract documents.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in procurement related to the ID and fit out of hospitality and FF&E sectors.
- Coordinate with all departments within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Build strong internal and external relationships using effective and efficient communications.
- Graduate in Architecture or any other relevant discipline.
- At least 9-12 years of experience in a similar role, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Previous experience working for hospitality developers, real estate developers, interior designers, fit-out contractors on hospitality projects (hotels), and residential projects.
- Experience in local and international procurements for supply and installation of materials and services related to Civil, Architectural, MEP, ID, fit-out works, and FF&E.
- Experience in local and international procurements for fit-out and FF&E for turnkey hotel projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage workload, maintain a high standard of excellence with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications in English.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform efficiently.
