**Job Summary**:

**Recipe Development**:
Develop and refine recipes for a diverse range of baked goods and desserts, including cakes, pastries, cookies, bread, and specialty items. Experiment with flavors, textures, and techniques to create unique and innovative pastry offerings.
**Production**:
Ensure that all products are made to high standards of quality, consistency, and freshness.
Monitor quantities to meet daily demands and maintain consistency in taste and presentation
**Baking and Pastry Techniques**:
Utilize a variety of baking and pastry techniques, such as mixing, shaping, baking, decorating, and finishing, creating visually appealing and delicious pastries. Ensure that all pastry items are baked and finished to perfection.
**Inventory Management**:
Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and minimize waste to control costs and maximize profitability.
**Quality Control**:
Maintain strict standards of quality and presentation for all pastry items.
**Menu Planning**:
Develop seasonal menus and special dessert offerings. Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to create appealing and marketable pastry selections.
**Sanitation and Safety**:
Adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards in the pastry kitchen, following HACCP guidelines and local health regulations. Ensure that all equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized.
**Creativity and Innovation**:
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate techniques and flavors into the dessert offerings.
Experiment with new recipes and flavors while considering customer preferences.
**Collaboration**:
Work collaboratively with other members of the team to coordinate menu offerings and ensure seamless execution of service. Communicate effectively and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
**Education and training**
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school or institution preferred.
Proven experience as a pastry chef or pastry cook in a professional kitchen environment.
**Skills**:
Extensive knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Strong creativity and passion for pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures, including HACCP principles.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey instructions
Ability to adapt to changing menus and work under pressure
**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
